The collection features beautiful shawls, jackets, coats and travel blankets, made from the finest Cashmere wool. These luxurious pieces are not just accessories they are a celebration of tradition, warmth and enduring beauty.
WHAT GOES INTO MAKING EACH TREASURE
Cashmere, renowned for its exceptional longevity, softness and exclusivity, necessitates a manual weaving process to protect its delicate fibers from the rough handling of machines. As a result, we employ handlooms to intricately weave fine Cashmere yarn, crafting luxurious Pashminas that require 3-4 days of meticulous craftsmanship.
The traditional keepers of Pashmina goats, essential for the Kashmiri Pashmina industry, are the Changpa tribe from the Ladakh region in North India. These semi-nomadic people despite their remote lifestyle and limited interaction with the mainland, have sustained themselves for generations, herding the rare Changthangi goats which are found nowhere else in the world, whose precious pashm forms the foundation of the entire Kashmiri Pashmina industry.
